Worcestershire Sauce also known as Worcester sauce is a liquid that is fermented and is created in the city of Worcester in Worcestershire England. John Wheeley and William Henry Perrins are the pharmacists who made this sauce. Worcestershire Sauce is regarded as a generic term when the pharmacists did not have a personal trademark for Worcestershire. Worcestershire Sauce is mostly utilized to assist in food and drinks such as deviled eggs. It is mostly utilized as a background or main flavor and a derivative of umami. It is now currently used in the ingredients which earlier did not have the usage of this Worcestershire Sauce. It is also used as a sausage in hamburgers and some finished goods and also to add a flavor to cocktails.

 Worcestershire Sauce is a type of fish sauce which is also known as garum and is a staple of roman cuisine and also in the Mediterranean area. Initially when the sauce was made it was completely strong in taste and its barrel was uncontrolled. Growing demand for sauces with unique flavors is facilitating growth of the Worcestershire sauce market .The chemists thought to make it once again after the space was created. Later, when the sauce was again tried, this fermented sauce was appealing and palatable. There are several ingredients that are used in the Worcestershire Sauce they are salt, sugar, spices, flavorings, molasses, spirit vinegar, anchovies, garlic, and extracts of the tamarind, shallots, and malt vinegar. As this Worcestershire Sauce contains anchovies people have allergies towards the fish are restricted to consume this sauce.

In Mexico, the sauce is also known as salsa inglesa. In Japan, this sauce is named as Worcester and is mostly used with the combination of vegan foods with a main base water, syrup or vinegar or the tomato puree or apple puree. It is very low in spicy content and tastes sweet when consumed. This sauce has a viscosity of less than 0.2 poiseuille.
