This is done by using radio waves to "see" the structures within an enclosed space. These systems can use two forms of technology: closed and open magnetic resonance imaging. These techniques can be used in many imaging applications, including the detection of masses and diseases within an individual's body.
One of the most popular magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) systems is called the cryogen-free MP3 magnetic resonance imaging system. These imaging devices are made up of high-frequency magnetic fields and very tiny magnets that are kept very near the body of the subject. The magnets create an enormous amount of heat that causes the water to contract. As this happens, it allows for a watertight seal to be created around the sensors, which then allows for the images to be collected without interference from any outside matter.
Cryogen-free MP3 machines have been proven to have extremely high costs of ownership. In fact, it would cost over one million dollars to run just one of these high-tech magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) systems. Even when combined with other diagnostic equipment and tools, this cost is still extremely high. This is because these machines require extremely high temperatures to work and they also require a constant source of power. It takes a very large number of technicians to run these machines continually at large medical centers. For instance, in September 2021, the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, U.S. introduced a new MRI solution that aims to treat the brain of patients with heart problems.
Another type of magnetic resonance imaging system is the High-resolution MRI or magnetic resonance imaging scanner. This type of machine has three different scanning systems. They are the phased-array system, the single-frequency frequency multi-mode scanner, and the frequency-dependent scanner. Each of these three systems produces images that are of extremely high quality, and they all cost significantly less than the Cryogen-free MP3 machines. These medical imaging systems are also highly effective though they do require a large number of operators to run them at any given time.
