Absorption chillers are used all over the world, especially in regions such as the US, Singapore, and Italy. An absorption chiller is an energy-saving refrigerator that employs a low-energy heat source to deliver the required energy to drive the chill process. The system works by using two refrigeration systems, the first delivering evaporative cooling and the second receiving heat from the other side of the door and then transferring it into the second refrigeration system. The lower part of the door (the side where the heat comes from) contains a cooler pad that is open at all times. The pad forces heat from the other side of the door to be absorbed and pushed back into the condenser coils.
